In hospitals, many employees do not have daily access to a computer or a workplace email address, so email based communications can only reach a limited audience. Conversely, more and more consumers are turning to the Internet for health-related information and have high expectations for healthcare websites.

AmSurg is “America's single specialty surgery center leader” with more than 180 centers across the United States. Parthenon's web development platform allows each of AmSurg's ambulatory surgery centers to quickly create a custom website that delivers information to referring physicians, patients and individuals seeking information. With the new web development platform, Parthenon will launch over 75 custom center websites in 2009.
h2u is HCA's health and wellness membership organization. Using our proprietary tool, Relay Publishing, Parthenon is able to create 52 different customized newsletters each month that contain both national wellness articles and local events and promotions.
Health2you Update is a monthly newsletter for members of h2u, the health and wellness organization of HCA. The eight-page newsletter offers health news and customized local event information to over 80,000 h2u members. Each month, Parthenon Publishing produces 50 different editions, each containing news about health screenings and other local chapter events.
Health2you Update is produced through Relay, Parthenon’s proprietary web-based publishing tool. Relay allows the h2u program’s national office to collaborate with local chapters of the organization and create a single publication that offers members both big picture information and customized local content.
Each month the eight-page, four-color publication focuses on a specific health and wellness topic. Topics in 2009 ranged from heart disease prevention to healthy weight loss to stroke prevention.
Spheris is one of the nation's leading technology and service companies in the medical documentation industry. Spheris employs more than 4,000 home-based medical language specialists in the United States and more than 1,500 in India. Parthenon developed a print and web-based communication strategy to share news, promote a set of corporate values and build community among the thousands of medical transcriptionists who work from their homes. Parthenon produces targeted email marketing campaigns to enhance customer relationships and communicate company developments. Parthenon also manages content on the Spheris website.
The Oncology Nurses Society (ONS) delivers timely news and professional development information to its 35,000+ members through its website and a variety of print publications. Parthenon worked with ONS to redesign and relaunch the association's monthly member magazine, ONS Connect.
