Facebook has announced that it is has hit their well anticipated 500 million member mark.  The normally press-shy Mark Zuckerberg is expected to make a rare television appearance on ABC’s World News to discuss the milestone and will most likely have to answer a few questions about Facebook’s recent privacy issues.

To celebrate this occasion, Zuckerberg discussed the upcoming launch of Facebook Stories where users can showcase the ways they have used Facebook around the world and the impact that the social media phenomenon had on their lives.  To show their appreciation and share the launch of Facebook Stories, Zuckerberg posted this video today.
