Road King magazine, published by Parthenon Publishing, won 15 awards, including the Best of 2013 Award for magazine writing, at the Truck Writers of North America Communication Awards. The awards were held March 27, 2014 at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Ky.

The TWNA Communication Awards recognize excellence in trucking industry journalism in both the trade and mainstream press, as well as excellence in communication with the industry by public relations professionals.

Editor Nancy Henderson won Best of Magazine Writing for her cover story And We’re Rolling, the story of stunt driver Mike Ryan’s work on Fast & Furious 6.
