UnumProvident Hires Parthenon for Print and Digital Communications

Parthenon Publishing has been hired to develop print and digital communications for UnumProvident Corporation (NYSE: UNM).

Parthenon has created an e-mail newsletter, Connections, that will enable UnumProvident to communicate effectively and efficiently with its approximately 13,000 employees on a weekly basis. Parthenon will also provide print publishing services for the creation of a quarterly employee magazine.

Chattanooga-based UnumProvident Corporation is an insurance holding company formed by the June 30, 1999 merger of UNUM Corporation of Portland, Maine, and Provident Companies, Inc., of Chattanooga, Tenn.
