Parthenon's IASIS Newsletter Wins Employee Communication Award
Forum Named one of Top 50 Employee Publications of 2003
Parthenon Publishing has won a silver award in the 2003 Inspire Awards Employee Communications Competition from the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP).
Parthenon won for the quarterly newsletter, called forum, which it produces for the employees of IASIS Healthcare Corporation. The newsletter is distributed to employees at each of the company's 15 hospitals in Arizona, Utah, Nevada, Texas and Florida, as well as at the company's Franklin, Tenn., headquarters.
Forum was also honored as one of the Top 50 Employee Publications of 2003.
"The 2003 Inspire Awards drew an unprecedented number of entries representing a broad range of industries and organizational sizes," said Christine Kennedy, LACP's Competition Director. "More than 350 employee publications were submitted, so competition was exceptionally tough. Winners demonstrated a laser focus on communications grounded in creativity and passion."
The LACP encourages excellence in the practice of communications for all organizations. A complete list of 2003 Inspire Awards honorees is at www.lacp.com/2003inspire.
