Parthenon Honored for Magazine, Newsletter and Web Site Work
Wins four awards in international competition for excellence in communication
Parthenon Publishing won four awards in The Communicator Awards 2004 competition, which recognizes work that "serves as a benchmark for the industry," according to award coordinators.
Parthenon's Road King magazine, produced for the TravelCenters of America, received a Crystal Award of Excellence. Road King's 2004 Media Kit was also honored with an Award of Distinction. Road King is a 225,000-circulation magazine published for professional truck drivers that is distributed every other month through TravelCenters of America's 150 locations nationwide.
The quarterly newsletter forum, which Parthenon produces for the employees of IASIS Healthcare Corporation, received an Award of Distinction. The newsletter is distributed to employees at each of the company's 15 hospitals in Arizona, Utah, Nevada, Texas and Florida, as well as at the company's Franklin, Tenn., headquarters.
The Parthenon-designed Web site ASCENT, at www.cedu-ascent.com, was honored with an Award of Distinction for Overall Web Site. ASCENT is a therapeutic adventure program for teens, based in Idaho, which is run by CEDU Education.
The Communicator Awards is an international awards competition that had more than 3,740 entries this year. The awards program presents Awards of Excellence to those entrants whose ability to communicate places them among the best in their field. The Award of Distinction is awarded to projects that exceed industry standards in communicating a message or idea.
