NATSO, the national association representing America's truckstop and travel plaza operators, has hired Parthenon Publishing for its member magazine. The first issue of the Parthenon-produced Stop Watch magazine is pictured at right.
Parthenon provides publishing services, managing design, layout, production and distribution of Stop Watch, the association's bimonthly magazine. In addition, Parthenon handles all advertising sales for the magazine. Parthenon is also producing and providing advertising sales representation for the association's member directory, to be published at the end of 2006. Parthenon has also been hired by the NATSO Foundation to produce a variety of materials for its primary fundraising event, The NATSO Disaster Relief Invitational. The event is held in conjunction with the organization's annual convention. The 2007 NATSO Show will be held Jan. 30- Feb. 3 in San Antonio, Texas.
Since 1960, NATSO has dedicated itself to the needs of truckstops, travel plazas and their suppliers by serving as America's official source of information on the diverse industry. NATSO also acts as the voice of the industry on Capitol Hill, and at regulatory agencies such as the Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Transportation, the Department of Labor and the Department of Energy. In addition, NATSO conducts the industry's only national convention and exposition.
The NATSO Foundation is the research, education and public outreach arm of the travel plaza and truckstop industry.
