Phoenix Outdoor Education

Phoenix Outdoor Education Center was a 30-day program for 12-to-15-year-old children and their families. Located in Westmore, Vt., Phoenix was designed to work with the families of young people who are depressed, anxious, distant, overly-sensitive, having difficulty with peers, and possibly experimenting with drugs or alcohol. The program combined fun activities, personal development, and academic experiences supported by clinical assessment and counseling.

Parthenon created a unique Web site to help parents learn about the program and how it could help their child and their families. The Web site provided detailed information about the program's features, the children it helped, the family curriculum and admissions information.
