TravelCenters of America e-Newsletter The Road King e-newsletter is a weekly update sent to subscribers. Featuring industry news and information on new products for professional drivers, the newsletter enables TA to extend the Road King brand, while providing another excellent source of information and news for its customers. In addition, the e-newsletter offers another electronic venue for advertisers. RoadKing.com Serving as the companion web site to Road King magazine, RoadKing.com is the home of the RoadKing Drivers' Club™. With over 400,000 members, the club offers benefits to drivers using their club cards to purchase fuel at TA locations. Parthenon manages RoadKing.com for TA. With links to Road King articles and features as well as to message boards and helpful links, the Web site complements the magazine and helps TA build relationships with customers online. Road King magazine Road King is the customer loyalty magazine for Travel Centers of America (TA). Based out of Cleveland, Ohio, TA boasts over 150 full-service travel centers across the nation. The magazine, with a bi-monthly circulation of 225,000, helps TA strengthen customer relationships by focusing on the individual drivers who make up its core customers. Road King provides TA customers with informative business information and entertaining reading. Editorial focuses on items of interest to drivers: everything from NASCAR news and truck show dates, to reviews on the latest trucks and accessories and helpful tips for managing a difficult business and lifestyle. Road King Media Kit Parthenon was awarded the publishing contract for Road King magazine in the fall of 2002. With the first issue of the relaunched publication not coming until March/April 2003, Parthenon knew it had to take an aggressive approach to marketing the publication during the critical fall advertising planning season. As a result, Parthenon developed a media kit to reflect energy of the "new" Road King. The media kit celebrates the magazine's creativity, attitude and style through eye-grabbing photography and assertive type.
