Candace has worked in digital media since earning her Bachelor of Arts in psychology at Sewanee: The University of the South. Before joining Parthenon, she worked as the Marketing Director for InstantAmber where she oversaw all marketing strategies and worked closely with the business development department. Prior to that, she worked at JLB Works as an editor of the community website Franklinls.com.

Describe your office.

I work remotely, so my office doubles as a guest room. I use my childhood desk and chair set and a notepad for a mouse pad. It’s all very glamorous.

What three words describe you best?

Hard working. Caring. Determined.

What was your greatest fear as a child?

Sleeping. I was afraid I would miss out on things if I went to sleep!

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

Climbing to the summit of Mt. Rainier.

What is your favorite book of all time?

“Oh, the Places You’ll Go!” – Dr. Seuss
