Whether she’s designing a responsive website or a streamlined logo, Laurabeth enjoys creating visual experiences for people. She is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys seeing projects through alongside other creative people.

Laurabeth believes good design is more than just great graphics and flashy functionality; it’s about how you combine all of those elements to tell the story of a brand in a powerful way.

Laurabeth has worked in design for almost 10 years. As a UX Designer for YouScience she created everything from wireframes to graphics to apps with a focus on cultivating strong, memorable branding for clients. She has experience using multiple design programs to create both print and web products to meet clients’ marketing needs.

Laurabeth graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a bachelor of arts in graphic communications. She has won several ADDY awards from the American Advertising Federation for her exceptional work.

What three words describe you best?

Persistent. Faithful. Athletic.

What is your favorite place to visit?

The beach.

What was your greatest fear as a child?

Drowning at the beach.

What talent would you most like to have?

Songwriting.

If you could have any job in the world, what would it be?

I love endurance sports and being outside, so I would have to say professional triathlete.

What living person do you most admire?

My grandmother. She’s been through some tough times but always comes out on top with her faith intact. She’s 81, takes care of herself and still cooks for the entire family every Sunday. She also babysits, sings in the choir, rocks a great sense of humor and makes the best homemade dressing and peach pies ever.
