AmSurg is “America's single specialty surgery center leader” with more than 180 centers across the United States. Parthenon's web development platform, WebAdvantage, allows each of AmSurg's ambulatory surgery centers to quickly create a custom website that delivers information to referring physicians, patients and individuals seeking information. Parthenon also designed and developed a comprehensive patient education content library that all of the websites share. Using the new web development platform, Parthenon launched 100 websites in 2010 and plans to launch an additional 50-75 websites in 2011.
StopColonCancerNow.com (SCCN) is a website dedicated to spreading the word about one of our nation’s most deadly — and most preventable — cancers. Most colon cancers can be detected early, before they have a chance to spread, with regular colonoscopies. AmSurg hired Parthenon to design and develop the website, which launched during Colon Cancer Awareness Month in 2010. Parthenon maintains the site’s content and has worked with AmSurg on other special projects to promote SCCN, including a TweetUp in Washington, D.C.
H2U is HCA's health and wellness membership organization. The organization works to promote the benefits of a healthy lifestyle to HCA employees and community members near HCA hospitals. To educate members about various health issues, Parthenon publishes Health2You Magazine and Health2You Newsletter. Health2You Magazine covers a wide range of health and wellness issues, ranging from preventing diabetes, to healthy eating habits to cardiac rehab and common skin care concerns.
Health2You Newsletter is a monthly publication that is customized to each market and features a local events calendar, profiles of local physicians and updates about new services and procedures. Parthenon created a proprietary online tool, Relay Publishing, which allows us to create more than 50 different versions of the eight-page newsletter each month.
IASIS Healthcare owns 17 acute care hospitals across the United States. Each one of these hospitals has its own local identity, while also representing what it means to be an IASIS facility. To help link hospital employees to IASIS and to each other, IASIS worked with Parthenon to create IASIS Forum. Forum is a bi-monthly print newsletter that highlights best practices at various hospitals, features hospital heroes and communicates corporate initiatives through engaging content and photos.
The Oncology Nurses Society (ONS) delivers timely news and professional development information to its 35,000+ members through its website and a variety of print publications. ONS approached Parthenon with a challenge: How could the organization redesign its popular publication to be more appealing to younger audiences? Parthenon worked with ONS to redesign the entire magazine and then relaunch ONS Connect with a fresh new look.
