How We Give Back

Parthenon is proud to give back to the community by supporting a variety of non-profit organizations. In addition to direct donations, Parthenon contributes its time and expertise to two organizations: Our Kids and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Middle Tennessee, and co-sponsored a third: TEDxNashville.

Our Kids logoOur Kids Center is a Nashville not-for-profit that offers expert medical and crisis counseling services for children when there are allegations or concerns of child sexual abuse. Our Kids is the only center of its kind in the Middle Tennessee area and has examined over 15,000 children over the center’s 21-year history.

Parthenon has donated its expertise and services to create a new website, newsletter, eNewsletter, Facebook page and printed marketing materials for Our Kids. In addition, Nicole Provonchee serves on the Our Kids Board of Directors as the Development Chair.

JDRF Logo The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) is the leading charitable funder and advocate of type 1 (juvenile) diabetes research worldwide. The mission of JDRF is to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. The Middle Tennessee branch generates awareness, manages fundraising events and supports advocacy activities.

Parthenon donated its time to craft a new print newsletter, monthly email newsletters, an event-specific website and a Facebook page. Bobby Stark also serves on the JDRF Middle Tennessee Board of Directors as its Communications Chair.

TEDxNashville logo In 2010, Parthenon sponsored TEDxNashville, a locally organized conference focusing on innovation in healthcare. Read more about Parthenon's involvement. Parthenon is proud to return as a TEDx sponsor for the 2011 event.
