TEDx Nashville – Are You Attending?
TEDx Nashville is this weekend and we encourage you to attend!
What is TEDx?
TED is a nonprofit group that began in 1984 by hosting an annual conference focused on technology, entertainment and design, and since then has hosted speakers on topics as disparate as evolution and video games. TEDx Nashville’s conference will present videos and live speakers on health care topics such as art in health care, using mobile phones to dispense health advice and diabetes research.
The actual title this year is: Art + Science = The future of health. The list of speakers spans the spectrum, from the Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs at Vanderbilt University Medical Center discussing the personalization of medicine to musician Big Kenny (of Big & Rich) talking about his humanitarian efforts across the globe.
And, we are very proud sponsors of the event.
The Tennessean had a feature on the event in Sunday’s paper. Check it out here.
We’re thrilled to be a part of “Ideas Worth Spreading,” and would love to see you at the event. For a list of speakers and ticket information, check out TEDxNashville.com.
Hope to see you there!
