“Writing is an exploration. You start from nothing and learn as you go.” – E.L. Doctorow

Websites, newsletters and magazines would offer little to audiences without fresh, informative content, and that's where Courtney fits in at Parthenon. Whether it's generating story ideas for a newsletter, writing customized content for a website or proofreading an article, Courtney uses her creativity and knowledge of the written word to craft content for both print and digital projects.

Courtney received her B.A. in journalism from Belmont University, where she also served as editor of the campus newspaper, the Belmont Vision. While in college, she interned at the Country Music Association, winning the inaugural CMA Close Up Award of Merit. She also freelanced for Nashville's newspaper, The Tennessean. Prior to joining the Parthenon team, she freelanced for Parthenon and worked as the news editor for CountryHound, a country music news website.
