Parthenon Teams Up With AmSurg Corporation
AmSurg Corporation has partnered with Parthenon Publishing to develop websites for its more than 180 surgery center partnerships nationwide. The comprehensive website offering, marketed under the name AmSurg WebAdvantage, offers high-quality, interactive websites custom branded to individual centers and practices.
“Working with AmSurg, we've developed a comprehensive strategy tied to achieving our client's business objectives,” says Bobby Stark, president of Parthenon. “The offering has been very well received with dozens of sites already in development."
Nashville-based AmSurg Corporation is one of the nation’s largest providers of ambulatory surgery center (ASC) services, in partnership with physician practice groups. The first WebAdvantage site, www.tampaendocenter.com, launched in late October. Visitors can watch video testimonials, take a colon cancer quiz, download patient forms and read important information about their procedure.
Dozens more Gastroenterology-specialty sites are in development and will go live in the coming months. Content for other specialties, including orthopedics, eye and multi-specialty centers, are in the works and will roll out in early 2009. Parthenon shepherds each center or practice through every step of the website construction process, including design, content development, photography, site testing and search engine optimization. Parthenon will also provide ongoing content management and site marketing and measurement activities.
