Parthenon Announces New 2010 Hires
April 13th, 2010Parthenon Publishing is pleased to announce the four new additions to its team.
Parthenon Publishing is pleased to announce that Diana Garrett has joined the company as Account Executive. She will share advertising sales responsibilities for Road King Magazine and NATSO’s Stop Watch publications, as well as print and digital media for TravelCenters of America and Petro.
Previously, Diana worked with Public Radio Partners, securing underwriting agreements for Nashville Public Radio. She has also worked in pharmaceutical sales for Johnson & Johnson and Astra Zeneca.
Parthenon welcomes Becky Eastridge to the team as Editorial Assistant. Previously, she worked as the assistant editor for a publication based in Washington, D.C. There, she wrote copy, edited draft publications, assisted in public relations activities and created digital content. Becky received her Bachelor of Science in mass communications from Middle Tennessee State University where she interned in the publicity department at Provident Label Group and worked in broadcast media.
As a new addition to the editorial team, Becky will be writing for Parthenon clients across the board including magazines, newsletters and e-publications. She will be responsible for creating content, writing copy and proofreading with the editorial team.
Candace Hutchins joins the Parthenon team as the Content Management Associate. She worked as the Marketing Director at InstantAmber before joining Parthenon where she oversaw all marketing strategies. Among her duties, she managed Web content and monthly eNewsletters from design to completion. Prior, she worked for JBL Works as the editor of an online community website Franklinls.com. Candace has worked in digital media since earning her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Sewanee University: The University of the South.
As the Content Management Associate, Candace will oversee e-based communications for the digital media department. She will make content revisions to client websites and manage the creation and implementation of eNewsletters and email campaigns.
Chrissy Sievers also joins Parthenon as Digital Media Project Manager. Chrissy came to Parthenon from echo, a Ticketmaster Entertainment company where she oversaw the creative department’s workflow and coordinated projects across the entire company. She specialized in tailoring the most effective and talented teams for each project and spearheaded standardizations to improve operations efficiency. Chrissy earned her Bachelor of Science in recording industry at Middle Tennessee State University with a double minor in mass communications and entertainment technology.
As the new Digital Media Project Manager, Chrissy will serve as the Web traffic manager, ensuring that the entire project is scoped and mapped out thoroughly, and adequate resources are consistently dedicated to the project to meet all deadlines.
