Parthenon Sponsors TEDxNashville
February 24th, 2010Parthenon Publishing is pleased to announce its sponsorship of TEDxNashville, an independently organized conference focused on innovation in healthcare taking place on March 21, 2010 at Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville, Tenn.
TED is a nonprofit that began in 1984 by hosting an annual conference focused on technology, entertainment and design, and since then has hosted speakers on topics as disparate as evolution and video games. TEDxNashville’s conference will present videos and live speakers on health care topics such as art in health care, using mobile phones to dispense health advice and diabetes research.
“We’ve been fans of the TED conferences for many years and we’re excited to be part of bringing the spirit of TED to Nashville through our sponsorship of TEDxNashville,” says Bobby Stark, president of Parthenon. “The conference will be a great opportunity to showcase the innovative thinking that fuels the Nashville economy.”
